White Collar Factory
a new 226,000 sq ft landmark office building to revolutionise the workplace.
An innovative and sustainable design for the future.
Clustered around a new public courtyard an additional five low-rise buildings offer 41,000 sq ft of office space, and 11,000 sq ft of restaurants.
A new urban campus for London, developed by leading architects, AHMM
At Derwent London we have always favoured the robustness and adaptability of buildings of the industrial era more than the over-specified and potentially short-lived new builds of recent years.
Simple, yet generous, these older buildings easily transform into inspiring, people-centric spaces. They don’t demand excessive ‘cooling’ systems, because they’re blessed with high ceilings, great daylight and natural ventilation.
Of course, no one makes buildings like that anymore, until now.
Along with architects AHMM, we have created the White Collar Factory. Anticipated completion Summer 2016.
With sustainability and flexibility in mind, White Collar Factory is built around five simple principles:
Located in Old Street, White Collar Factory is well connected and is at the epicentre of London’s media and tech sectors.
Old Street Roundabout, dubbed ‘Silicon roundabout’, is a hot bed of creativity, inspiration and talent.
The building has been carefully designed to meet a progressive energy efficiency and carbon reduction strategy.
